About ucneo & Editorial Standards
Who we are, how we research, and how we keep our guides honest.
About ucneo
ucneo is an independent education website for people who are new to cryptocurrency. We publish plain-English guides on how crypto exchanges work, how to register and verify an account, how to deposit and withdraw, and how to avoid common beginner mistakes.
We are not an exchange, a broker, or a financial adviser. We do not hold your funds and we never ask for your passwords, private keys, or two-factor codes.
How we research
- We build each guide by walking through the official flows and primary sources, and illustrate key steps with original diagrams. Interface images on this site are illustrative, not exchange screenshots.
- We link to primary sources (official exchange fee pages, help centers, and regulator notices) rather than repeating rumors.
- We review content regularly, because fees, features, and rules change. Each article shows when it was last updated.
How we make money
Some of our articles contain referral links to exchanges such as OKX. If you sign up through one of these links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never changes our opinion: we describe both strengths and weaknesses, and we tell you when a link is a referral link. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
Not financial advice
Nothing on ucneo is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Cryptocurrency is volatile and high-risk. Always do your own research and only risk money you can afford to lose.
